The Flower Lady has been part of Herne Hill and Brixton life on Railton Road for years, with a selection worth stopping for and prices Elaine keeps fair. Open six days a week, closed Mondays.

Elaine runs the shop herself, and has become a fixture of this part of Railton Road. She talks people through their ideas, remembers what suits an occasion, and makes each arrangement by hand. Whether it is a belated birthday, a party or a funeral, the flowers are put together for the person they are meant for.

Funerals are handled with care and without fuss. Elaine listens to which flowers the person actually liked, makes the tribute to fit a willow casket or a coffin, and will deliver it to you.
